"Dramatically situated on a clifftop overlooking Miramare Bay, a fifteen-minute walk from Pile Gate, and with a wonderful shingle beach immediately below."
"Though it's more middle-of-the-road than luxury... the rooms are airy and cleanly designed in calming sand and earth tones with rustic natural fabrics."
"Built into a spectacular rocky cliff overlooking the sea, this design hotel lies between the Old Town and Gruž harbor. The look is smart and minimalist."
"This five-star luxury boutique hotel's spectacular cliff-top location with fine views over the bay is hard to beat."

Be sure to book a room with an Adriatic-view balcony positioned to capture the morning's first rays.
"The Libertas's tumbling terraces, pool, and beach area are beautiful, but sadly they do not overcome the hotel's "no frills" approach to service and amenities." Full review
"Maintenance is a bit shy of its mark, and claims of luxury are a bit farfetched, too. However, a quick look at the tariff card will put most midrange travelers at ease." Full review
"The Turkish-owned Rixos Libertas has long been one of Dubrovnik‘s architectural landmarks, originally built in the early 1970s when Croatian modernism was at its peak." Full review

"It’s perhaps not surprising in this ever more connected world that the Turkish-based Rixos luxury-hotel group should count the Dalmatian coast of Croatia among its most successful venues...." Full review

It’s an impressive site, to be sure, and makes for impressive views — against such a backdrop, the hotel itself could get away with shirking some of its responsibilities, and it’s to its great credit that it doesn’t.
