Michelin Guide
"Behind historical walls, not far from Mozartplatz, find the beautiful rooms of this hotel with their classic, elegant style."
Concierge
"Formerly one of Salzburg's oldest inns, built in 1377, this landmark building in the old town has managed to preserve some of its medieval cuteness despite its new trendily sparse decor."
Frommer's
"This is not your typical Radisson property -- in fact, its style and charm are a rather radical departure for the chain."

Note: River views are lovely, but avoid the rooms on the bottom floor facing the river, as these can be noisy—the bar here goes to 4 am on the weekends.

Avoid the overpriced buffet breakfast though - you'll find much better value at one of the many cafes along Linzer Gasse.

"Guest rooms and common areas are spruced up with abstract art, sleek parquet floors, designer lighting and cleverly designed conversation areas and niches appointed with leather and chrome seating."
