With rates the same across the board, the fresher Bay Tower units are the ones to request.

The hotel's location puts it relatively close to San Diego's popular attractions (though not close enough, according to some guests), but those who plan to stick around the property can make use of three swimming pools, the fitness center and the in-house Island Breeze Spa. And those who'd prefer to dine in will find six on-site restaurants and lounges to choose from.
